How should I categorize my space?

Updated over 5 months ago

When adding a space, you will be prompted to select a space type.

Guests often come to Peerspace looking for a specific type of space. Choosing the right space type ensures your listings are discoverable, so it's important to understand the different categories and where you fit best.

The categories are defined by the space's function combined with stylistic elements. With this in mind, think about what the space was designed to do, as well as any features that set it apart, when selecting your space type.

For example, if you're listing a residence (a space whose primary function is to provide a place to sleep), consider what makes your home unique. Is it a Cabin in the woods or a Brownstone you'd see in Brooklyn? Try to be as specific as possible.
